Review: The Things She's Seen

The Things She's Seen The Things She's Seen by Ambelin Kwaymullina
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

p. 5 "Life doesn't move through time, Bethie. Time moves through life."

Beth hangs around her dad, helping him cope and investigate crimes since her death. She hasn't moved on because he needs her, and can see her and talk to her. When they go to investigate a fire at a children's home, the crime gets complicated quickly.

This is a quick read, but the mythos and storytelling is complex.
